Nice eclipse of the moon. Just as the moon went into total eclipse the clouds parted and the humidity dropped (I don't think there is a correlation here). We opened up and focused around 21:05. Around 21:40 the Echelle slitview camera stopped. Rebooted and all was happy again. 2nd half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan There were clouds at the beginning of second half, and high humidity when the clouds cleared off. We had an hour-long opening where the humidity hovered just around the limit, then it rose too high again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW01 E I/H 21:40 22:00 Ech SV crash ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:06 Echelle -95(291) 71 62 6.1/9.0 212 19 ND2 1.20 22:58 Echelle 3(350) 215 53 7.3/7.5 209 16 ND2 1.10 01:23 SPIcam 50(1257) 102 66 5.2/6.2 221 11 R 0.95 03:18 NA2gdr -2162(34837)93 46 5.6/5.9 205 17 R 1.24 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 47 47 18 200 (SSW) 879774 Cloudy Fog 17:01 46 46 7 184 (S) 782 Cloudy none 18:01 45 43 19 221 (SW) 562 Cloudy none 19:01 43 42 18 207 (SSW) 705 Cloudy none 20:01 43 41 12 227 (SW) 662 Pt.
