During checkout I noticed 4 bad magnasensor readings on the first slew. The second long slew cleared them, but I slewed a couple more times to be sure. I delayed opening until around 20:05 due to clouds that looked thick at sunset. We had about an hour of mostly clear skies and then the system to our South started moving in. By 23:00 we were pretty well socked in with thick cirrus and I decided to close shortly thereafter. Around midnight the fog started rolling in. We never re-opened the remainder of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:28 DISslit -50(1097) 94 66 6.6/8.4 241 16 none 0.9 20:29 NA2gdr -3500(29600) 95 65 6.8/8.4 235 17 R+ND2 0.8 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 51 36 18 215 (SW) 326 Mst.
