Temperatures were sufficiently warm tonight versus last night such that no equipment oddities were noted; DIS was calibrated just fine on the first attempt. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half remained photometric, with seeing around an arcsecond. Everything worked well; the blue-side bias level is still lower than normal, similar to last night's. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:32 DISslit -50(642) 204 78 -4.3/-1.7 353 7 - 1.33 18:34 NA2gdr -2392(44607)205 77 -4.3/-1.8 351 3 R 1.48 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 28 2 1 300 (WNW) MstlyClr none 17:01 27 1 1 263 (W) MstlyClr none 18:01 26 -6 3 354 (N) MstlyClr none 19:01 25 -5 10 0 (N) Clear none 20:01 23 -1 9 11 (N) Clear none 21:01 26 -4 8 10 (N) Clear none 22:01 27 4 7 357 (N) Clear none 23:01 25 0 6 351 (N) Clear none 00:01 24 2 3 12 (NNE) Clear none 01:01 26 5 7 272 (W) clear none 02:01 26 7 8 285 (WNW) clear none 03:01 26 6 9 273 (W) clear none 04:01 25 7 11 290 (WNW) clear none 05:01 26 7 10 282 (WNW) clear none 06:01 26 8 11 284 (WNW) clear none 07:01 26 6 12 301 (WNW) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
