Probably 3-4 inches of light fluffy stuff, for the high winds to blow around, at the start of the night and 4-6 when we left for the night. Roof heaters were on all day as well as tonight. When I checked the roof there was a little snow as well some ice buildup on the eves. With gusty winds tonight I am guessing there won't be a lot of accumulation, but I could be wrong. Roof heaters were turned off as it was really was too cold for them to do much good as the temp plumeted after midnight to -10C. Hopefully during the day the temps will be warm enough to melt any ice/snow and the roof heaters can be turned back on. We did snow removal duty around 7PM as well as around 2:30AM this morning. Blowing and additional snow made it kind of futile though. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 25 21 21 276 (W) - Cloudy Snow 17:01 24 20 19 247 (WSW) - Cloudy Snow 18:01 24 21 22 265 (W) - Cloudy Snow 19:01 24 21 23 268 (W) - Cloudy Snow 20:01 24 21 35 254 (WSW) - Cloudy Snow 21:01 24 20 26 251 (WSW) - Cloudy Snow 22:01 24 20 20 262 (W) - Cloudy Snow 23:01 24 20 25 259 (W) - Cloudy Snow 00:01 23 19 15 296 (WNW) - Cloudy Snow 01:01 20 16 16 323 (NW) - Cloudy Snow 02:01 15 11 10 350 (N) - Cloudy Snow 03:01 13 8 5 329 (NNW) - Cloudy Snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
