It did not stop us from opening however. Humidity / dewpoint depression again hung just below closure limits all of first half. 2nd half Observing Specialist: J.Dembicky Humidity went over the closure limits as the first half observers finished. I closed the enclosure and let the 2nd half observers take their cal lamps. The humidity dropped below closure limits around 03:00 and we opened again at 03:30 under partly cloudy skies. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:02 dis-slit -25(906) 243 60 -0.9/2.9 137 11 - 1.49 19:05 NA2gdr -131(46868) 243 60 -0.9/2.9 136 11 R 1.4 03:41 DISSlit 125(834) -156 72 0.6/-1.3 216 7 none 1.12 03:44 NA2gdr -811(46188) -154 72 0.9/-1.2 204 2 clear 1.02 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 38 24 9 232 (SW) - prtly cldy none 17:01 35 22 3 233 (SW) - prtly cldy none 18:01 30 21 10 111 (ESE) - prtly cldy none 19:01 30 22 10 136 (SE) - prtly cldy none 20:01 31 23 11 128 (SE) - prtly cldy none 21:01 32 24 10 177 (S) - prtly cldy none 22:01 31 25 11 155 (SSE) - prtly cldy none 23:01 31 25 14 159 (SSE) - prtly cldy humid 00:01 31 27 12 166 (SSE) - prtly cldy humid 01:01 30 27 13 148 (SSE) - prtly cldy humid 02:01 30 27 10 149 (SSE) - prtly cldy humid 03:01 30 24 4 184 (S) - prtly cldy none 04:01 33 11 2 234 (SW) - prtly cldy none 05:01 34 6 4 185 (S) - prtly cldy none 06:01 34 8 8 203 (SSW) - prtly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
