Humidity, however, was high; we watched it slowly decline until it seemed safe to open just after 19:00. Turned on the fans at 18:45 to cool once the humidity seemed to level out at 75%. Closed at 21:20 just after the observer finished a science exposure and the humidity became unacceptably high. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan During second half, the humidity hovered above the limit with just a couple of downward excursions to increase our frustration. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:21 DISslit 0(728) 178 79 -3.1/-0.9 351 9 - 0.95 19:23 NA2gdr 625(47625) 180 79 -3.3/-1.0 6 13 R 0.92 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 28 23 1 278 (W) 0 PtlyCldy none 17:01 26 22 10 344 (NNW) 0 PtlyCldy none 18:01 25 22 4 358 (N) 0 MstlyClr none 19:01 26 20 5 1 (N) 0 Clear none 20:01 26 21 8 336 (NNW) 0 Clear none 21:01 25 21 9 347 (NNW) 0 Clear none 22:01 25 23 8 330 (NNW) 0 Clear none 23:01 25 22 1 21 (NNE) 0 Clear none 00:01 25 24 0 296 (WNW) 0 Clear none 01:01 25 24 7 354 (N) 0 clear none 02:01 25 23 9 354 (N) 0 clear none 03:01 25 23 6 330 (NNW) 0 clear none 04:01 25 23 8 317 (NW) 0 clear none 05:01 25 24 15 329 (NNW) 0 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
