Around 21:30 the wind calmed and swung to the east, bringing the usual seeing degradation, but this resolved within about two hours as the wind calmed once again. The rest of the night was clear and quiet, the seeing relatively steady in the neighborhood of one arcsecond. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:47 DISslit 200(1270) 172 80 15.3/17.6 354 4 - 1.23 19:50 NA2gdr 4487(45487) 177 80 15.6/17.6 354 8 R 1.13 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 63 38 9 296 (WNW) 562 MstlyClr none 17:01 64 34 4 344 (NNW) 547 MstlyClr none 18:01 63 30 8 285 (WNW) 505 Clear none 19:01 61 24 2 350 (N) 543 Clear none 20:01 61 25 5 357 (N) 515 Clear none 21:01 61 24 0 322 (NW) 509 Clear none 22:01 61 24 3 69 (ENE) 529 Clear none 23:01 60 23 1 349 (NNW) 487 Clear none 00:01 61 22 1 270 (W) 483 Clear none 01:01 60 23 0 249 (WSW) 481 Clear none 02:01 60 23 2 273 (W) 467 Clear none 03:01 59 23 0 264 (W) 470 Clear none 04:01 62 18 1 348 (NNW) 475 Clear none 05:01 61 25 0 332 (NNW) 473 Clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
