Conditions were good throughout first half, with light winds out of the west and seeing between 1-1.5 arcseconds. During second half, the seeing improved dramatically to around 0.7 arcseconds unfiltered on the DIS slitviewer. Quiet and uneventful... just the way we like it. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:31 dis-slit -100(799) 171 79 11.8/13.6 173 8 - 0.90 20:43 NA2gdr -764(40235) 185 79 11.8/13.2 173 10 R 1.08 21:04 NA2gdr 1702(42702) 319 58 11.8/12.9 179 10 R 1.45 02:14 DISslit 225(1083) 193 57 11.6/11.6 179 10 - 0.71 02:24 NA2gdr 5281(46281) 197 56 11.6/11.6 177 9 clear 0.76 04:30 DISslit 150(954) 23 81 11.8/11.3 181 9 - 0.80 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 63 41 5 181 (S) 1613 Clear none 17:01 61 43 10 217 (SW) 1371 Clear none 18:01 61 44 9 194 (SSW) 1190 Clear none 19:01 55 42 3 196 (SSW) 1091 Clear none 20:01 53 43 10 138 (SE) 1054 Clear none 21:01 53 43 9 178 (S) 953 Clear none 22:01 55 42 11 180 (S) 861 Clear none 23:01 53 42 9 178 (S) 897 Clear none 00:01 52 42 12 139 (SE) 863 Clear none 01:01 53 40 6 179 (S) 847 Clear none 02:01 53 40 8 181 (S) 737 Clear none 03:01 53 41 8 177 (S) 638 Clear none 04:01 53 40 8 178 (S) 647 Clear none 05:01 53 39 6 185 (S) 635 Clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
