Even then conditions were poor the rest of first half with variable seeing (when it could be monitored at all). Finally at the shift change I determined it was too opaque. With threatening storms on the radar I never reopened. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:21 dis-slit 0(1071) 143 64 15.4/16.8 264 8 - 1.1 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 63 47 10 296 (WNW) 433 cloudy none 17:01 63 52 6 200 (SSW) 530 cloudy none 18:01 63 52 7 237 (WSW) 501 cloudy none 19:01 61 50 2 211 (SSW) 505 cloudy none 20:01 60 47 5 268 (W) 256 cloudy none 21:01 60 45 7 259 (W) 175 cloudy none 22:01 61 45 5 268 (W) 202 prtly cldy none 23:01 61 46 6 262 (W) 184 mstly cldy none 00:01 60 47 4 212 (SSW) 282 cloudy none 01:01 60 47 6 209 (SSW) 220 cloudy none 02:01 59 48 1 263 (W) 368 prtly cldy none 03:01 60 47 4 243 (WSW) 216 cloudy none 04:01 59 47 5 207 (SSW) 289 cloudy none 05:01 58 48 4 189 (S) 272 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
