Dembicky Started cooling fans around 19:00 but kept the enclosure closed due to weather and I needed to calibrate DIS. There was a thunderstorm with lightning and rain just to our W over the basin. I finally opened in twilight around 21:00. At 00:10 the first half observers decided to switch over to GrIm for the remainder of the night. This was not a scheduled change so they ate the time for the swap back to SPIcam. Around 02:30ish the temperature started to fluctuate and took the seeing with it. For the rest of the night the seeing fluctuated at the temperature changed a couple degrees back and forth. Seeing really went south towards the end of the night, but the observers was just taking flats so we didn't re-focus. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:13 SPIcam -250(1102) 212 63 17.4/19.7 82 12 i' 1.16 21:23 NA2gdr 2268(51268) 216 61 16.9/19.5 95 10 R 1.18 21:45 SPIcam -300(974) 129 75 16.4/18.6 84 12 i' 1.05 21:50 NA2gdr 622(49622) 133 76 16.4/18.3 104 10 R 1.42 22:57 SPIcam -250(950) -13 78 15.3/16/7 137 12 i' 0.85 00:24 GrIm-f/5 60(955) -152 79 15.5/15/5 85 18 J 1.06 01:03 SPIcam -100(1038) 66 81 15.1/15/3 80 18 i' 1.06 01:10 NA2gdr 690(49690) 63 82 15.2/15/4 76 25 R 1.19 02:34 SPIcam -50(1108) -93 67 16.3/15.2 32 12 i' 1.23 02:43 NA2gdr 567(49567) -92 65 16.7/15/3 355 2 R 1.27 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 73 42 7 264 (W) 379 Mst.
