The clouds departed (somewhat) around 21:40 and I opened shortly thereafter. The 2nd half observers decided to go with Grim to start the evening. I switched back to SPIcam for them around 02:06 just as the clouds moved in. We focused SPIcam but the clouds became too thick to do any useful science. I closed the telescope at 02:40 due to the possible threat of rain. We had a few sprinkle around 03:30 and gave up for the night around 04:20. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:00 SPIcam -300(906) -110 59 13.1/16.4 19 76 z' 1.49 22:18 NA2gdr 456(49456) -107 57 12.9/15.6 15 85 clear 1.75 00:28 SPIcam -150(882) 279 78 12.3/12.9 17 75 z' 1.55 01:24 GrIm-f/5 0(753) 192 80 11.5/12.1 15 79 J 1.15 02:17 SPIcam -100(915) 185 57 10.9/11.3 15 81 i' 1.52 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 70 30 9 221 (SW) 674 Pt.
