Wind from NE, got in corridor between two cloud systems, one north and above the basin and one south above Texas. Seeing fluctuated greatly through out the night, not at all helped by the loss of the telescope temperatures. So keeping an eye on focus was even more of a battle after 2240. No other problems to report. The night went well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:10 SPIcam -150(1141) -39 40 12.0/13.8 70 18 r' 1.16 21:16 NA2gdr 1000(50000) -39 39 11.9/13.7 70 20 R 1.22 01:41 dis-slit -50(840) -44 58 10.9/11.8 87 13 - 1.37 01:46 NA2gdr 1500(42500) -44 57 11.1/11.8 88 10 clear 1.28 03:30 dis-slit -100(781) -13261 11.0/11.8 87 14 - 0.96 03:33 NA2gdr 738(41738) -13161 11.0/11.8 83 16 clear 0.95 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 65 32 0 288 (WNW) 432 clear none 17:01 67 19 1 253 (WSW) 262 clear none 18:01 64 20 13 76 (ENE) 252 clear none 19:01 62 15 6 5 (N) 293 clear none 20:01 57 19 20 69 (ENE) 362 clear none 21:01 54 28 19 69 (ENE) 383 clear none 22:01 52 32 19 74 (ENE) 516 clear none 23:01 52 31 23 73 (ENE) 544 clear none 00:01 51 34 17 76 (ENE) 551 clear none 01:01 52 32 13 86 (E) 559 clear none 02:01 52 29 13 79 (ENE) 531 clear none 03:01 52 30 13 87 (E) 616 clear none 04:01 52 31 13 93 (E) 649 clear none 05:01 51 30 12 116 (ESE) 684 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
