Thanks for the reminder, Russet. High humidity, dust and near-overcast skies around sunset prevented us from opening for a second night in a row. The humidity gradually increased during first half, crossing the 100% threshold at about 23:30. Shortly thereafter, when the rain sensor had triggered, Kevin decided to give up for the night. Rhodri logged in a short time later and passed time taking a series of darks with GRIM whilst we waited in vain for the humidity to drop. It did, tantalizingly, several times, but always seemed to go back up. I let him continue his cals into PU04's time, since although the humidity had finally dropped, clouds filled the sky. Bummer. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 51 40 5 271 (W) 948 MstlyCldy none 17:01 51 40 4 324 (NW) 2000 MstlyCldy none 18:01 49 39 3 24 (NNE) 3351 MstlyCldy none 19:01 48 43 0 143 (SE) 1026 MstlyCldy none 20:01 47 42 9 90 (E) 2204 MstlyCldy none 21:01 46 42 2 186 (S) 2200 MstlyCldy none 22:01 45 44 7 93 (E) 2136 MstlyCldy none 23:01 46 45 1 168 (SSE) 3304 PtlyCldy none 00:01 44 44 8 79 (ENE) 5193 PtlyCldy none 01:01 49 43 7 311 (NW) 4661 PtlyCldy none 02:01 46 43 4 25 (NNE) 3504 PtlyCldy none 03:01 47 43 1 335 (NNW) 3006 PtlyCldy none 04:01 48 41 7 14 (NNE) 3043 MstlyCldy none 05:01 49 40 0 236 (SW) 3036 MstlyCldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
