At 00:04 both observers noted that something was wrong. The mcnode crashed and I restarted it. Second half was clear but the observer kept mentioning problems he was having. He claimed that shift-click was not working for him. When I would try it from here it worked fine. On the 3rd report that it was doing the same thing each time I noticed that the offsets that his shift click and the one I would do had exactly opposite signs in X and Y. Troubleshooting with the observer we discovered that the XScale and YScale values that our Remarks were reporting did indeed have opposite signs and different values. This also explained why guiding was working poorly for him as well. I centered objects and guided for him the rest of the evening. Sometime around 0330 the altitude axis drives just quit tracking. It took two axis stop and inits to get them to again move. I made a note in the nlog. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW03 S T/S 00:04 00:10 MCNODE crashed CU05 E I/S 03:00 03:15 Remark not reading proper Echelle guider configuration files?
