The new Echelle Guider Mac froze up and needed to be restarted at 23:15. This did not affect the observers exposure and so no downtime was counted for recovering from this problem. R.McMillan was onsite for all of first half to make sure this new instrument didnt have problems that lost lots of time. Thanks Russet! Second half went smoothly. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:08 Echelle -115(-207) 105 58 7.6/9.0 256 9 nd2 1.55 01:19 GrIm2(f/5) 100(938) 164 30 9.3/8.5 276 18 J 1.03 01:24 NA2gdr -500(47500) 166 31 9.3/8.6 287 14 R 1.0 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 58 10 24 239 (WSW) 1440 clear none 17:01 57 9 24 250 (WSW) 1566 clear none 18:01 55 8 18 243 (WSW) 1402 clear none 19:01 52 5 20 265 (W) 1342 clear none 20:01 47 0 15 226 (SW) 1454 clear none 21:01 46 -1 13 227 (SW) 1376 clear none 22:01 47 -1 11 266 (W) 1318 clear none 23:01 48 -1 17 273 (W) 1464 clear none 00:01 49 1 18 276 (W) 1462 clear none 01:01 49 1 16 268 (W) 1496 clear none 02:01 49 1 9 274 (W) 1395 clear none 03:01 49 0 9 272 (W) 1272 clear none 04:01 47 0 8 275 (W) 1394 clear none 05:01 47 0 6 265 (W) 1430 clear none 06:01 47 0 5 262 (W) 1234 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
