The sky had a little cirrus which increased after sunset. During second half the grism would not go in for spectral mode. Power cycling GrIm (a couple time, since we then lost quads) fixed the problem. Other than some pesky clouds and the grism thing, things rans smoothly ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- NM02/G I/H 02:15 03:15 The Grism would not go in for spectral mode. Power cycling GrIm seemed to fix the problem. (we weren't sure if clouds were causing the problem but eventually determined it was a hardware problem) ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:20 DISslit -100(619) 36 77 10.7/11.3 249 15 none 1.06 20:26 NA2gdr 3550(45550) 33 77 10.6/11.2 248 15 R 0.91 01:12 GrIm f/20 30(659) 65 75 9.7/9.3 294 18 H 0.66 01:23 NA2gdr -1713(46286) 62 77 9.4/9.2 294 13 R 1.05 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 57 9 22 264 (W) 1373 Mst.
