I closed until about 2300 when the skies became clear and dust levels dropped. Focus was diffiuclt since the dome air was quite turbulent and the temperatures had not quite equalized ealier in the evening. We were forced to focus again shortly after midnight however clouds again closed in on us and remained over head the remainder of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:17 SPIcam -210(590) 270 42 2.7/3.1 269 16 I 1.18 23:20 NA2gdr 754(49754) 271 40 2.7/3.1 281 22 R 1.55 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 50 14 18 244 (WSW) 1560 clear none 17:01 48 14 23 233 (SW) 1614 clear none 18:01 47 15 14 270 (W) 1708 clear none 19:01 43 14 16 262 (W) 2451 prtly cldy dusty 20:01 40 13 19 269 (W) 2258 mstly cldy dusty 21:01 39 9 15 267 (W) 2779 mstly cldy dusty 22:01 37 7 19 277 (W) 1803 cloudy none 23:01 37 8 15 275 (W) 1200 clear none 00:01 36 8 20 267 (W) 1099 mstly cldy none 01:01 34 11 22 268 (W) 1085 cloudy none 02:01 34 13 22 262 (W) 959 cloudy none 03:01 32 15 21 266 (W) 973 cloudy none 04:01 32 15 19 267 (W) 954 cloudy none 05:01 31 16 15 275 (W) 1004 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
