I opened the enclosure around 18:30 since Russet was going to do her dis cals a later and did not need the enclosure dark. She tried doing some sky flats with DIS with the covers closed around 19:30 and focused DIS around 19:55. The NA2 guider ICC died (blank screen and would not come out of screen saver mode) around 02:40ish tonight. The observers had been making hand adjustments anyhow so no telescope time was lost. Other than the NA2 guider problem, everything ran smooth. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- PU01 O I/H 02:40 02:40 NA2 ICC crashed, no time lost ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:14 DISslit -250(523) 102 58 9.8/11.6 191 1 none 0.95 20:17 NA2gdr -82(40917) 102 58 9.9/11.6 188 1 R 0.85 21:38 DISslit -100(591) 37 77 10.0/10.5 143 4 none 0.92 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 60 17 19 252 (WSW) 1659 Clear none 17:01 56 12 8 249 (WSW) 1515 Clear none 18:01 57 11 5 260 (W) 1463 Clear none 19:01 54 11 6 264 (W) 1589 Clear none 20:01 49 9 1 195 (SSW) 1718 Clear none 21:01 50 9 1 138 (SE) 1845 Clear none 22:01 50 10 4 175 (S) 1908 Clear none 23:01 49 8 14 235 (SW) 1657 Lt.
