I originally mounted DIS since the skies were not photometric (local cloud passing by) and the observer requested that instrument in such a case. By the time the sun was setting the skies at APO were nice and clear so I switched instruments to SPIcam. The observer was able to get his twilight flats in the evening that way under clear skies. During our focus run at 22:40 we got 0.47 arc sec in i' and 0.68 arc sec with the clear filter off the guider!!! 2nd Half Observing Specialist: J.Barentine A very quiet second half... ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:39 SPIcam -200(467) 63 74 4.8/4.1 22 16 i' 0.72 19:52 NA2gdr -905(48094) 60 76 4.5/4.2 35 20 clear 1.13 22:38 SPIcam -150(495) 293 68 3.6/3.5 0 7 i' 0.48 22:43 NA2gdr 626(49626) 293 68 3.8/3.5 318 2 clear 0.68 00:24 NA2gdr 626(49626) 277 52 3.6/3.4 291 6 R 1.05 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 39 28 8 293 (WNW) 373 Pt.
