Skies were somewhat cirrussy; non-photometric but still useable. That degraded rapidly after sunset. By 19:45 the sky was mostly cloudy and Iskra decided to abort the current DIS exposure. It remained cloudy for the rest of the half. 2nd half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Continued heavy clouds during second half. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:42 DISslit -250(170) 32 65 0.5/1.6 226 8 - 1.41 18:44 NA2gdr -653(40346) 31 65 0.2/1.5 236 11 R 1.09 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 37 -6 9 269 (W) 536 PtlyCldy none 17:01 36 -6 9 263 (W) 487 PtlyCldy none 18:01 32 -8 13 261 (W) 459 PtlyCldy none 19:01 32 -5 12 235 (SW) 580 PtlyCldy none 20:01 34 -7 7 232 (SW) 370 MstlyCldy none 21:01 34 -9 8 253 (WSW) 410 MstlyCldy none 22:01 34 -10 8 253 (WSW) 329 MstlyCldy none 23:01 35 -10 7 272 (W) 296 MstlyCldy none 00:01 35 -7 15 269 (W) 319 MstlyCldy none 01:01 35 -7 13 266 (W) 346 MstlyCldy none 02:01 34 -6 14 262 (W) 324 cloudy none 03:01 33 -5 17 246 (WSW) 334 cloudy none 04:01 33 -4 17 264 (W) 367 cloudy none 05:01 32 -4 13 261 (W) 448 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
