I closed the enclosure for about 30 minutes at 20:20 due to 1.0u dust counts spiking above 3000 counts. The observers requested an instrument change at 23:00. John Barentine came in to help the second user tonight. It was a great help to the observer and myself. Clouds rolled through at midnight for about an hour. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:54 SPIcam -50(664) 218 50 0.3/1.3 235 26 i' 1.37 18:57 NA2gdr 85(49085) 219 50 0.3/1.3 224 12 R 1.27 21:02 SPIcam 0(561) 145 75 -0.9/-0.5 260 25 i' 1.15 21:52 SPIcam 100(676) 124 57 -1.1/-0.9 266 18 i' 1.59 23:29 dis-slit 300(629) 0 47 -1.2/-1.5 283 20 - 1.53 00:56 dis-slit -100(157) -16477 -1.2/-1.7 292 22 - 1.02 00:58 NA2gdr 674(41674) -16277 -1.1/-1.6 270 18 R 1.02 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 38 18 17 210 (SSW) 341 clear none 17:01 35 17 22 228 (SW) 813 clear none 18:01 33 14 20 232 (SW) 1877 clear none 19:01 33 9 22 252 (WSW) 928 clear none 20:01 32 9 21 257 (WSW) 899 clear none 21:01 31 11 17 264 (W) 1498 clear none 22:01 30 9 17 267 (W) 1138 clear none 23:01 30 7 20 275 (W) 1051 prtly cldy none 00:01 30 7 16 276 (W) 815 mstly cldy none 01:01 30 8 13 279 (W) 661 clear none 02:01 28 11 10 294 (WNW) 570 clear none 03:01 27 13 10 9 (N) 1186 clear none 04:01 25 15 16 26 (NNE) 1472 clear none 05:01 24 12 11 355 (N) 1298 clear none 06:01 26 7 11 12 (NNE) 1099 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
