Even when the storm cleared out of the area as predicted by the NWS, orographic clouds and high humidity prevented us from opening the full night. With light dry snow, cold temps and strong winds I ran the snow program from about 0100 to 0600. The telescope was left pointed south to allow the sun to work its mojo on the snow/ice covered dome. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 34 27 39 251 (WSW) 1778 cloudy none 17:01 31 30 32 263 (W) 6113 cloudy none 18:01 28 27 27 269 (W) 452 cloudy none 19:01 25 25 29 279 (W) 3114 cloudy rain / grapple 20:01 25 24 25 267 (W) 2402 cloudy grapple 21:01 24 24 23 275 (W) 490 cloudy lt snow 22:01 21 21 20 321 (NW) 2261 cloudy none 23:01 19 17 18 301 (WNW) 273 cloudy none 00:01 18 16 17 288 (WNW) 159 cloudy none 01:01 16 14 23 322 (NW) 146 cloudy lt snow 02:01 15 13 13 297 (WNW) 163 cloudy none 03:01 15 13 12 302 (WNW) 126 cloduy none 04:01 15 13 14 314 (NW) 93 cloudy none 05:01 15 14 12 1 (N) 146 cloudy lt snow 06:01 15 14 20 19 (NNE) 268 clear Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
