I did an echelle slit swap around 00:20. The wind picked up around 03:10 and the seeing degraded along with it. The wind gusted over closure limits around 03:25 forcing us to close. We remained closed for the rest of the night due to wind gusts, rising humidity, and incoming clouds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:58 DISSlit 170(952) 93 73 8.8/10.9 199 15 none 1.10 18:07 NA2gdr 489(44499) 94 75 9.0/10.6 206 17 R 0.99 01:06 Echelle 37(12) 143 45 7.1/7.4 237 21 ND3 0.97 02:58 Echelle 36(-46) 184 52 6.4/6.7 214 30 ND3 1.37 -------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 54 20 21 213 (SSW) 488 Mst.
