The remote observers asked that we include the following in the night log: "We'd like to thank Scott Anderson, Vickie Graybeal and the UW administrative office for helping us with remote observing at the University of Washington. They enabled us to observe away from home while attending the AAS meeting." 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half remained foggy. I took the opportunity to do some tests of rotator motion and tried to track down the source of the intermittent offset-flips with DIS. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 39 31 9 262 (W) 3583 MstlyCldy none 17:01 37 31 14 268 (W) 3057 MstlyCldy none 18:01 36 32 9 281 (W) 2324 MstlyCldy none 19:01 36 31 19 283 (WNW) 9841 Overcast fog 20:01 36 31 20 277 (W) 1362 Overcast fog 21:01 35 31 26 291 (WNW) 7312 Overcast fog 22:01 35 31 22 279 (W) 85 Overcast fog 23:01 34 31 17 267 (W) 6534 Overcast fog 00:01 35 31 20 283 (WNW) 3515 Overcast fog 01:01 34 31 15 284 (WNW) 2645 Overcast fog 02:01 34 31 22 291 (WNW) 2738 cloudy fog 03:01 34 31 20 276 (W) 6026 cloudy fog 04:01 34 28 20 282 (WNW) 2561 cloudy fog 05:01 33 29 26 288 (WNW) 6096 cloudy fog 06:01 32 30 27 281 (W) 4057 cloudy fog Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
