Dembicky High humidity kept us closed until around 23:20 when it had dropped enough, and long enough, to allow us to open. I focused the Echelle and found remarkably good seeing for just having opened, around 1 arc sec. The first half observer was able to get one object observed before his time was up. The second half switch went without incident and we were on the sky until rising humidity again closed us at 03:00. This lasted for about 1 hr and then the humidity took a downward turn again and we re-opened at 04:05. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:35 Echelle 34(-668) 96 68 -0.7/-2.4 162 12 ND1 1.03 00:06 DISslit -90(78) 267 65 -0.2/-2.1 170 11 none 0.98 00:12 NA2gdr 247() 268 64 -0.4/-2.0 180 6 R 0.86 04:16 DISslit 20(251) 138 48 0.7/-1.9 94 2 none 1.94 04:20 NA2gdr -1995(51005) 139 49 0.6/-1.6 132 3 R 1.59 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 27 25 20 81 (E) 347 Cloudy none 17:01 25 25 19 85 (E) 270 Cloudy none 18:01 25 24 15 86 (E) 240 Cloudy none 19:01 24 24 15 80 (E) 200 Pt.
