At 06:00 I decided to close the enclosure due to the threat of nearby precip in the area. The clouds moved out around 19:30 and we again opened at 19:45 (after Mark and Craig completed some engineering work up in the enclosure.). I focused the DISslitview camera (seeing 1.34 arc sec) and then the NA2 guider (seeing 1.30 arc sec) which was found to be at a large negative focus (expected since they worked on it today). I then set up to do the NA2 guider instrument block which took a few hours. Russet was online to offer help and advice. Around Midnight I refocused DIS to do the testslit offset tests. DIS testslit offset measurements -------------------------------- Testview: offset to center on slit for X using the 'c' key: +35.5 offset to center on slit for Y using the 'c' key: +105 Star position X Y before above offset 342.7 397.3 after above offset 226.3 49.6 No scale or sign corrections were made, Jon H or Craig can make the necessary adjustments.
