It was used for a mix of engineering tasks and a little science. In practice, clouds during first half made the time difficult to use, but we managed to get some work done. Second half had mostly clear skies and seeing that started out poor but gradually improved. Observations with DIS went very smoothly except for the absence of the guider. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:39 DISslit -50(871) -77 62 14.2/16.1 126 7 - 0.86 20:41 NA2gdr 0(54000) -77 62 14.2/16.0 110 7 clear 1.09 23:49 DISslit -100(799) -64 41 13.1/14.2 153 12 - 1.45 00:25 S-H -50(1411) 142 60 12.6/13.6 156 12 - 1.0 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 62 45 1 233 (SW) 608 mstly cldy none 17:01 62 46 6 240 (WSW) 566 mstly cldy none 18:01 61 45 3 200 (SSW) 575 mstly cldy none 19:01 61 43 2 231 (SW) 627 ptly cldy none 20:01 59 45 3 104 (ESE) 732 ptly cldy none 21:01 58 43 2 127 (SE) 720 ptly cldy none 22:01 60 43 2 221 (SW) 786 mstly cldy none 23:01 57 40 11 131 (SE) 658 mstly clr none 00:01 55 37 13 156 (SSE) 581 ptly cldy none 01:01 53 37 5 172 (S) 656 mstly clr none 02:01 54 36 4 179 (S) 634 clear none 03:01 56 37 3 192 (SSW) 601 clear none 04:01 57 36 5 268 (W) 537 clear none 05:01 55 38 4 215 (SW) 704 clear none 06:01 56 38 3 276 (W) 726 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
