Dembicky Clouds until around 03:30 when I opened the telescope. Scattered clouds there after. I started cooling the telescope around 03:10. Seeing was around 1.1 arc sec when I focused DIS at 03:40. My Remark session (V2.82) crashed (closed without warning) with no interaction from me at 04:06. I restarted it but it again crashed, with no interaction from me a couple mins later. I started V2.80b and that seemed to work. Clouds wiped out the 2237 program scheduled for the last part of the night. I gave the time to the 2nd half observer to use with DIS since he was able to capture a few photons with it. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:43 DISslit -90(778) 112 57 13.6/13.6 0 2 none 1.10 03:52 NA2gdr 1320(55320) 113 58 13.4/13.6 4 6 R 1.14 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 66 47 5 304 (NW) 988 Cloudy none 17:01 62 47 4 340 (NNW) 945 Cloudy none 18:01 60 45 11 26 (NNE) 745 Cloudy none 19:01 59 47 9 80 (E) 1065 Cloudy none 20:01 59 47 14 113 (ESE) 1054 Cloudy none 21:01 57 49 13 78 (ENE) 954 Mst.
