We were able to open at 22:40 MDT under clear skies. The rest of the night provided excellent seeing and smooth operations. The vacuum pump on the echelle ran all night and I left it running when I left this AM without any problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:45 DIS II 100(1035) 173 59 13.9/15.4 168 9 - 1.35 22:49 NA2 Gdr 771(54769) 175 59 14.1/15.3 157 9 R 1.14 01:15 SPIcam 75( 973) -122 73 12.1/12.3 183 10 g' 0.92 01:28 NA2 Gdr -357(60643) -118 71 12.4/12.4 208 12 R 0.73 02:00 SPIcam 150(1079) 312 60 12.2/12.4 199 12 g' 0.82 02:04 NA2 Gdr 1065(62065) 312 60 12.1/12.3 187 8 R 0.86 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 55 43 8 45 (NE) 470 cloudy rain 19:01 58 41 4 90 (E) 457 cloudy none 20:01 56 42 16 128 (SE) 466 cloudy none 21:01 56 36 18 127 (SE) 206 ptly cldy none 22:01 57 37 11 177 (S) 282 ptly cldy none 23:01 56 35 14 139 (SE) 277 clear none 00:01 53 41 13 150 (SSE) 597 clear none 01:01 53 44 11 164 (SSE) 795 clear none 02:01 55 42 11 191 (S) 569 clear none 03:01 54 41 10 184 (S) 510 clear none 04:01 54 40 6 183 (S) 500 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
