The clouds moved right in so thick that we could not see 8th mag stars. No science was done first half due to the bad weather conditions. We did manage to focus through a hole around midnight but then I closed due to the impending rain on radar. Conditions deteriorated all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:31 SPIcam 75(1094) 57 69 14.3/15.0 265 10 i' 0.78 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 65 18 22 266 (W) 7748 ptl cldy none 19:01 67 16 22 274 (W) 4192 ptl cldy none 20:01 63 20 16 268 (W) 1900 ptl cldy none 21:01 61 21 12 262 (W) 2520 cloudy none 22:01 60 22 14 264 (W) 1117 cloudy none 23:01 59 21 12 262 (W) 1068 cloudy none 00:01 57 21 8 267 (W) 979 cloudy none 01:01 56 21 9 278 (W) 993 cloudy lt rain? 02:01 55 20 5 261 (W) 1429 cloudy lt rain? 03:01 55 23 13 263 (W) 1419 cloudy lt rain? note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
