All systems restarted without any troubles. The seeing was amazingly decent given the weather all through first half. Light cirrus remained most of the night though. Seeing deteriorated suddenly around 01:00. The second half had more cirrus and very bad seeing. After the second half program was finished I took focus measurements for the lens program but the best images were around 2.5 arcsecs, completely unusable for lens monitoring, so we closed up around 04:47 MDT. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:24 Grim f/5 120(1152) 27 61 16.7/17.8 125 14 .25/J 0.70 21:28 NA2 Gdr -1484(60617) 26 61 16.8/17.8 124 13 R 0.78 00:14 Grim f/5 40( 986) -21 63 14.8/15.9 135 14 .25/J 1.69 01:17 Echelle 50( 234) -169 32 14.2/14.9 165 1 - >2.0" 04:32 SPIcam 0(????) 159 58 14.8/15.2 259 3 r' >2.5" --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 67 41 6 245 (WSW) 983 ptly cldy none 19:01 68 43 7 199 (SSW) 1241 cirrus none 20:01 63 42 13 133 (SE) 1265 cirrus none 21:01 62 41 9 118 (ESE) 1089 cirrus none 22:01 62 42 12 139 (SE) 1332 cirrus none 23:01 61 43 9 148 (SSE) 1273 cirrus none 00:01 59 43 15 148 (SSE) 1092 cirrus none 01:01 57 42 3 117 (ESE) 1108 cirrus none 02:01 62 41 8 233 (SW) 1395 cirrus none 03:01 61 41 8 230 (SW) 1067 cirrus none 04:01 60 42 4 217 (SW) 1257 cirrus none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
