Rain earlier in thew day helped cool the air and add water vapor, leading to humidity levels that steadily crept upward during twilight. Winds that picked up around sunset stayed with us throughout the first half, with increasing clouds from the west. These conditions continued through the second half, although George was able to get some useful data through the cirrus. At about 03:00, with thickening clouds and a dwindling list of observable objects, George decided to give up for the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:01 Echelle 100 143 53 15.2/16.4 95 16 clear 1.48 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 70 44 12 196 (SSW) 1846 MstlyClr none 17:01 68 44 6 196 (SSW) 1877 MstlyClr none 18:01 70 44 5 261 (W) 2009 PtlyCldy none 19:01 65 45 12 143 (SE) 2243 PtlyCldy none 20:01 61 45 9 93 (E) 1663 PtlyCldy none 21:01 59 44 17 83 (E) 1807 PtlyCldy none 22:01 58 43 18 109 (ESE) 2125 PtlyCldy none 23:01 57 43 18 111 (ESE) 1978 MstlyCldy none 00:01 57 44 21 119 (ESE) 2669 MstlyCldy none 01:01 57 44 16 131 (SE) 2973 MstlyCldy none 02:01 56 44 11 163 (SSE) 2940 MstlyCldy none 03:01 59 44 13 197 (SSW) 1888 MstlyCldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
