Dembicky I started cooling the enclosure around 19:30 (enclosure fans only) with the threat of rain looming overhead and to the E. As the humidity rose around 21:00 I closed the louvers and turned off the fans. Rain, wind and clouds for the better part of the night. I finally decide it may be safe to open around 03:30, just in time for the clouds to decend again on APO. We remained open, although conditions were extremely marginal and the seeing was rather poor. The PU03 program time was given to UC01 since the seeing was so poor. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:50 Echelle -180(-221) 62 28 10.9/12.8 111 21 ND1 2.20 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 65 41 17 112 (ESE) 1232 Cloudy none 19:01 61 44 24 83 (E) 983 Cloudy none 20:01 58 43 21 74 (ENE) 1136 Cloudy none 21:01 53 46 21 70 (ENE) 1141 Cloudy Lt.
