Focus went fine but the sky was quite cloudy. I ran into some Remark crashes similar to past crashes, Craig was notified and reverting to 2.80b solved the problem. Clouds soon became more than we could contend with and we stopped observing at 22:25. I opened again at 01:00 for second half. The sky cleared for a bit but soon became so thick I again closed at 03:45. We opened again at 04:35 MDT and got a few exposures before closing for the day.... ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW01 D I/S --:-- --:-- Remark crashes due to DIS stuff ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:53 DIS Slit -100(923) 109 82 11.2/12.3 276 17 - 1.13 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 60 15 15 251 (WSW) 1517 mstly cldy none 17:01 59 14 13 241 (WSW) 1467 mstly cldy none 18:01 59 14 17 270 (W) 1607 ptly cldy none 19:01 56 11 9 256 (WSW) 1599 ptly cldy none 20:01 54 8 13 275 (W) 1697 ptly cldy none 21:01 54 8 11 270 (W) 1773 mstly cldy none 22:01 52 8 11 270 (W) 1649 mstly cldy none 23:01 53 7 12 268 (W) 1425 mstly cldy none 00:01 53 7 14 272 (W) 1428 mstly cldy none 01:01 51 5 9 267 (W) 1503 ptly cldy none 02:01 51 6 11 268 (W) 1454 ptly cldy none 03:01 50 5 15 260 (W) 1549 mstly cldy none 04:01 48 3 14 249 (WSW) 1756 mstly cldy none 05:01 50 4 17 241 (WSW) 1602 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
