All systems started okay, but when we started to observe the NA2 guide Mac crashed hard. I had to hard reboot it. All ran well thereafter. The sky did not cooperate and was mostly cloudy. We were open first half trying to shoot through it, but eventually dust and clouds were bad enough to close. The clouds remained and we finally gave up. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:20 SPIcam 50(1050) 97 61 13.2/14.3 258 19 6563 1.31 22:55 NA2 Gdr -17(60979) -7 53 12.9/13.8 265 16 R 0.93 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 62 18 17 247 (WSW) 1052 mstly cldy none 17:01 58 13 17 268 (W) 1149 mstly cldy none 18:01 58 14 21 249 (WSW) 1169 mstly cldy none 19:01 60 16 18 257 (WSW) 1129 mstly cldy none 20:01 55 12 14 242 (WSW) 1186 mstly cldy none 21:01 56 11 15 258 (WSW) 1320 mstly cldy none 22:01 55 10 14 260 (W) 1728 mstly cldy none 23:01 56 11 13 268 (W) 1706 mstly cldy none 00:01 54 9 16 250 (WSW) 1888 mstly cldy none 01:01 54 9 17 266 (W) 1991 mstly cldy none 02:01 52 7 11 260 (W) 2422 mstly cldy none 03:01 52 7 9 279 (W) 2344 mstly cldy none 04:01 52 7 7 269 (W) 2230 mstly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
