Dembicky Opened enclosure and started cooling fans tonight at around 18:45. My first observer of the night started their twilight flats around 20:10. The 2nd program was a Target of Oportunity program and they had excellent seeing and got their data in about 45 mins. This allowed the regularly scheduled program (now the 3rd program of the night) to start a few minutes ahead of time. Unfortunately the temperature took a jump around 01:45 and the seeing really went south with it. The echelle was reporting 1.5-2.0 arc sec at best and it looked to be variable which was a change from the sub arc second seeing we were getting earlier. Everything here ran smooth tonight on our end, although UC had one Remark crash on their end. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:52 SPIcam 0(1072) 37 80 14.9/16.8 89 3 r' 0.76 01:08 SPIcam 80(1073) 27 45 11.9/12.4 117 9 r' 0.99 01:55 Echelle 167(125) 166 59 13.1/12.3 171 7 ND1 1.81 03:10 Echelle 51(86) 186 43 12.4/12.7 158 11 clear 1.45 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 69 22 15 256 (WSW) 625 Pt.
