Seeing was very good; the echelle was getting 1 arcsecond at three airmasses, and better at more reasonable positions. The echelle pointing was excellent, and everything worked well aside from a crash of the slitviewer Mac; it was rebooted without no interruption to observations. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:50 Echelle 149(184) 80 56 12.6/14.1 235 13 Clear 1.05 01:07 Echelle 74(17) 170 51 11.5/11.8 267 11 Clear 0.83 04:37 SPIcam 25(804) 140 66 8.5/9.5 282 19 r' 0.79 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 59 13 16 264 (W) 1456 mstly clr none 17:01 60 12 20 263 (W) 1538 mstly clr none 18:01 62 15 16 243 (WSW) 1789 mstly clr none 19:01 59 14 14 217 (SW) 1990 clear none 20:01 55 15 11 208 (SSW) 2614 clear none 21:01 54 16 13 227 (SW) 2772 clear none 22:01 52 15 8 265 (W) 2721 cirrus none 23:01 53 10 9 277 (W) 1715 cirrus none 00:01 54 8 12 246 (WSW) 1215 mstly clr none 01:01 53 8 11 262 (W) 1385 mstly clr none 02:01 51 8 9 271 (W) 1384 ptly cldy none 03:01 50 3 13 275 (W) 1350 ptly cldy none 04:01 49 6 12 281 (W) 1178 mstly clr none 05:01 47 6 13 277 (W) 1373 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
