The sky was thick with high level cirrus and later became more low level cirrus. They tried desperately to shoot through the opacity all night. Transmission remained around 10% and we finally closed at 04:03 after dust shot over the limit as well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:56 GFP 50(1066) 156 63 12.4/12.9 270 21 4400A 0.9 00:06 NA2 Gdr 467(63684) 156 64 12.3/12.9 261 17 Clear 1.3 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 62 12 18 268 (W) 1292 very cloudy none 17:01 60 13 18 277 (W) 1239 very cloudy none 18:01 62 14 25 220 (SW) 1381 very cloudy none 19:01 59 14 14 261 (W) 1424 very cloudy none 20:01 58 13 16 252 (WSW) 1545 very cloudy none 21:01 57 11 21 215 (SW) 1287 very cloudy none 22:01 57 12 20 264 (W) 1299 very cloudy none 23:01 56 11 18 251 (WSW) 1255 very cloudy none 00:01 54 12 20 265 (W) 1448 very cloudy none 01:01 53 8 23 265 (W) 1621 very cloudy none 02:01 52 5 18 259 (W) 1659 very cloudy none 03:01 51 6 12 260 (W) 1982 very cloudy none 04:01 49 5 9 272 (W) 2853 very cloudy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
