Dembicky We started the night off with clouds, so I held off on opening the enclosure until conditions improved around 20:30. The clouds came back quickly but I allowed the observer to try to get something even with the clouds. We closed about an hour later since the observer did not get anything useful at all thru the clouds and it was pointless to continue trying. Around 01:30 Jeff Morgan turned off the Blue Ion pump on DISII to prep it for the scheduled engineering work of the replacement of the blue lens. We stayed closed with lots of passing sucker holes until around 03:25 when we decided to try to get something thru some very marginal skies with still passing clouds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:42 DISII -140(766) 190 56 12.8/14.7 257 16 none 1.15 20:48 NA2gdr -4957(52042) 192 56 12.7/14.4 240 16 R 1.23 04:10 SPIcam 125(930) 294 81 11.0/11.1 346 8 I 0.85 04:15 NA2gdr 1233(62233) 288 76 10.7/10.9 345 7 R 0.99 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 60 14 16 258 (WSW) 555 Cloudy none 18:01 58 13 18 252 (WSW) 626 Cloudy none 19:01 57 12 17 245 (WSW) 836 Cloudy none 20:01 54 8 15 239 (WSW) 938 Pt.
