Dembicky We had clouds and too high of dust counts at the start of the evening. The dust dropped below closure limits around 22:00 but the clouds persisted. Started dome cooling fans around 01:55 and the clouds moved away enought that I felt it safe to open at 02:30. Everything ran smooth as silk tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:45 SPIcam -240(516) -112 49 5.1/8.1 263 15 g' 1.41 03:08 NA2gdr -2800(58199) -107 44 4.5/6.5 269 17 R 1.77 03:58 SPIcam 110(817) -98 34 3.4/4.6 292 18 r' 1.84 04:00 NA2gdr 1582(62582) -98 33 3.2/4.4 268 14 R 2.03 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 60 22 33 218 (SW) 1700 Cloudy none 17:01 56 22 19 191 (S) 1196 Cloudy none 18:01 54 18 32 215 (SW) 3771 Cloudy dust 19:01 53 23 25 221 (SW) 4012 Cloudy dust 20:01 51 15 35 224 (SW) 5330 Cloudy dust 21:01 49 13 26 229 (SW) 7482 Cloudy dust 22:01 49 17 18 248 (WSW) 1874 Cloudy none 23:01 47 15 9 264 (W) 1292 Cloudy none 00:01 46 18 18 271 (W) 888 Cloudy none 01:01 44 19 17 266 (W) 909 Mst.
