I did open at 19:00 MST and the skies were cloudy, winds moderate. I tried to begin scattered light measurements with SPIcam but the clouds were too thick. I closed again due to possible threat of rain. I was unable to work on sky at all first half. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: Russet McMillan Second half remained thickly clouded. A few raindrops fell off and on, triggering the precipitation sensor but not providing any significant moisture. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 55 17 23 265 (W) 348 ptly cldy none 17:01 55 17 14 218 (SW) 354 cloudy none 18:01 53 18 23 222 (SW) 392 cloudy none 19:01 51 18 17 217 (SW) 225 cloudy none 20:01 50 18 14 227 (SW) 284 cloudy none 21:01 50 18 12 236 (SW) 283 cloudy none 22:01 49 19 10 237 (WSW) 628 cloudy none 23:01 48 20 8 227 (SW) 670 cloudy none 00:01 46 22 9 264 (W) 893 cloudy none 01:01 45 25 13 252 (WSW) 551 cloudy lt rain 02:01 43 27 9 248 (WSW) 534 cloudy lt rain 03:01 42 27 10 182 (S) 338 cloudy none 04:01 42 27 7 247 (WSW) 435 cloudy none 05:01 41 27 10 245 (WSW) 442 cloudy lt rain note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
