I turned the cooling fans on around 22:05 as the wind and dust dropped below closure conditions, although we still had overcast skies for the remainder of the night. I turned the cooling fans off/press fans on around 03:00 when the dust levels started to rise again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW09/D /H 18:00 06:00 DISII Turet found not to be rotating gratings into proper position. Works OK in home position (High gratings), but not in other. Since tonights observer is only using high, this does not affect their program. Problem discovered during checkout when Russet was doing some more DISII testing.
