There was also a period of a few hours around midnight when the clouds were too thick to do anything even if we had opened. I eventually opened the telescope late in the morning to obtain more data to check against my analysis of mirror stability. I also planned to check out the new TCC version, but it turned out the update had not been implemented yet. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 39 -8 3 35 (NE) 587 17:01 37 -13 9 9 (N) 570 18:01 37 -20 24 21 (NNE) 223 19:01 36 -18 16 14 (NNE) 195 20:01 37 -20 19 19 (NNE) 132 21:01 37 -20 13 21 (NNE) 52 22:01 37 -20 16 33 (NNE) 131 ptly cldy none 23:01 36 -20 11 46 (NE) 87 mstly cldy none 00:01 37 -18 9 36 (NE) 83 mstly cldy none 01:01 38 -17 0 130 (SE) 80 mstly cldy none 02:01 35 -17 8 201 (SSW) 91 ptly cldy none 03:01 33 -22 12 205 (SSW) 131 ptly cldy none 04:01 33 -19 9 211 (SSW) 174 ptly cldy none 05:01 33 -19 11 225 (SW) 257 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
