Skies briefly cleared up considerably around sunset but the winds kept hovering around the closure condition. Near 20:00 the partly cloudy skies went overcast and remained that way for the rest of the first half. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: J.Dembicky The skies, humidity, and dust finally cooperated around 02:00 and allowed us to open to partly cloudy skies. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:27 SPIcam -250(0) 233 44 -6.9/-5.1 264 10 r' 2.03 03:15 SPIcam -100(70) 235 43 -7.2/-6.7 296 13 r' 1.99 03:49 SPIcam -25(206) 250 29 -7.3/-7.2 311 14 r' 1.95 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 33 20 30 269 (W) 2192 MstlyCldy none 17:01 34 16 25 242 (WSW) 2617 MstlyCldy none 18:01 31 14 22 260 (W) 1140 PtlyCldy none 19:01 30 14 24 273 (W) 700 PtlyCldy none 20:01 28 16 28 266 (W) 1738 Overcast none 21:01 27 18 14 267 (W) 701 Overcast none 22:01 26 21 22 285 (WNW) 398 Overcast none 23:01 25 21 17 268 (W) 537 Overcast none 00:01 24 19 16 296 (WNW) 846 Cloudy none 01:01 21 19 15 275 (W) 3251 Cloudy none 02:01 20 15 10 265 (W) 1404 Pt.
