I told the observer to go home as there was no chance we would open with fresh snow on the enclosure and more predicted on the way. By Midnight we had 7 1/2 inches of fluffy white stuff on the ground with more falling out of the sky. Considering the prediction for tonight was 1 inch increasing towards morning, it looks like they are going to be off by at least a factor of 8. Tommorows forcast is for 4 inches (hmmmm... 4 x 8 = 24 more inches!). Looks like a white Christmas here at APO this year. Total accumulations at 06:00 was around 8-10 inches with snow starting to fall again! Snow program was ran all night long. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 30 11 17 212 (SSW) 247 Cloudy None 17:01 30 15 22 206 (SSW) 258 Cloudy Snow 18:01 25 24 16 191 (S) 375 Cloudy Snow 19:01 25 24 17 199 (SSW) 2647 Cloudy Snow 20:01 26 25 21 185 (S) 22347 Cloudy Snow 21:01 25 25 20 201 (SSW) 6142 Cloudy Snow 22:01 25 24 14 157 (SSE) 91 Cloudy Snow 23:01 23 22 12 125 (SE) 247 Cloudy Snow 00:01 24 23 11 179 (S) 47 Cloudy Snow 01:01 24 24 6 192 (SSW) 828 Cloudy Snow 02:01 24 24 5 236 (SW) 932 Cloudy Snow 03:01 24 20 7 177 (S) 49 Cloudy Lt.
