It was not above closure limits so I had the pressurization fans on and louvers closed. Closed shortly after the start due to cloud cover. Shortly after 21:00 I reopened to sketchy skies. Lots of cloud cover and poor seeing. I didnt stay open long however and closed again after about an hour on the sky. Second Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Clouds, high winds, high humidity, and threat of rain kept us closed second half. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEGDFVO) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:15 GFP 150(867) 203 45 4.1/4.3 267 18 6717 2.58 21:31 NA2gdr -1000(60001) 204 43 4.0/4.2 276 23 clear 2.61 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 46 32 28 254 (WSW) 1660 mstly cldy none 17:01 42 30 20 250 (WSW) 2336 mstly cldy none 18:01 41 30 24 266 (W) 1719 mstly cldy none 19:01 40 32 19 268 (W) 798 mstly cldy none 20:01 40 31 20 270 (W) 283 mstly cldy none 21:01 39 31 20 263 (W) 158 mstly cldy none 22:01 40 32 26 297 (WNW) 149 mstly cldy none 23:01 39 32 17 267 (W) 234 cloudy none 00:01 40 33 28 251 (WSW) 281 cloudy none 01:01 39 33 25 266 (W) 644 cloudy none 02:01 39 34 26 267 (W) 489 cloudy none 03:01 38 35 27 263 (W) 568 cloudy none 04:01 37 35 24 269 (W) 517 cloudy none 05:01 36 36 24 265 (W) 4690 cloudy fog 06:01 36 36 24 258 (WSW) 5181 cloudy fog note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
