Second Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Clouds and a bit of rain persisted for a couple of hours, and then high winds kept us closed until it was too late to get any useful data. A power flicker around 03:45 didn't last long enough to trigger the generator, but did upset the site air's dewpoint sensor, the enclosure controller, and the mirror cover controls. I think nothing else was affected. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 43 25 11 267 (W) 432 mstly cldy none 17:01 43 25 16 286 (WNW) 436 mstly cldy none 18:01 41 23 14 285 (WNW) 1219 mstly cldy none 19:01 41 24 11 310 (NW) 459 mstly cldy lt. rain 20:01 42 25 18 295 (WNW) 349 mstly cldy none 21:01 40 24 15 284 (WNW) 380 mstly cldy none 22:01 40 25 17 254 (WSW) 173 cloudy lt. rain 23:01 41 30 26 267 (W) 212 cloudy lt. rain 00:01 41 29 15 265 (W) 770 cloudy lt. rain 01:01 41 27 17 291 (WNW) 776 cloudy none 02:01 39 27 18 263 (W) 286 cloudy none 03:01 39 27 18 268 (W) 224 mstly cldy none 04:01 38 28 15 278 (W) 168 ptly cldy none 05:01 37 28 21 268 (W) 242 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
