Telescope enclosure was open and cooling for about an hour before the start of the first scheduled program. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half had clear, apparently photometric weather and generally good seeing, although it was a little hard to tell with the targets we were observing (moderately high airmass, fields with lots of galaxies and few bright stars). Everything went well aside from a weird readout thing cropping up on the DIS slitviewer, which didn't prevent observations. Around 04:30, I realized no one had taken any S-H measurements in a while, so I pre-empted a little time to get two stars. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:40 DIS-slit -50(682.66) 95 70 10.0/10.8 274 5.1 - 1.05 19:50 NA2guider -578.5( ) 95 70 9.8/10.7 274 5.1 R 0.91 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 55 36 3 295 (WNW) 185 Clear None 17:01 57 38 7 259 (W) 153 Clear None 18:01 54 34 9 288 (WNW) 152 Clear None 19:01 50 32 4 278 (W) 143 Clear None 20:01 50 25 7 273 (W) 134 Clear None 21:01 50 25 5 267 (W) 173 Clear None 22:01 47 33 5 184 (S) 153 Clear None 23:01 48 33 6 184 (S) 176 clear none 00:01 49 28 7 193 (SSW) 208 clear none 01:01 49 32 6 182 (S) 429 clear none 02:01 49 32 7 203 (SSW) 197 clear none 03:01 49 30 5 199 (SSW) 217 clear none 04:01 50 28 5 256 (WSW) 300 clear none 05:01 49 29 5 190 (S) 299 clear none 06:01 49 28 7 193 (SSW) 290 clear none 07:01 48 28 5 202 (SSW) 287 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
