The observer was about 20 minutes late showing up for his time. 21:20 I closed due to clouds and high humidity. A short while longer the humidity dropped and the clouds didn't look as threatening so I reopened at 22:00. We closed again at 23:40 for threatening storms that seemed to be moving fast in our direction on the weather radar. Second Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Rain and snow kept us closed during second half. I rain the snow program after 03:00, when the snow started accumulating for a final total of about 1 inch. ---------------- FAILURE LOG --------------- PROG INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:40 SPIcam -150(612) 187 57 3.54/4.44 275 11 r' 1.05 18:50 NA2gdr -2500(58500) 187 56 3.11/3.99 269 10 R 1.04 19:50 SPIcam -100((701) 67 29 2.3/3.1 317 15 r' 2.00 20:14 SPIcam 0(661) 48 45 2.2/2.1 317 10 r' 1.50 20:20 NA2gdr -1000(60503) 48 45 2.3/2.1 308 13 R 1.45 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 36 35 11 266 (W) 2888 Clouds none 17:01 37 36 5 213 (SSW) 362 Ptly Cldy none 18:01 36 31 8 268 (W) 342 Ptly Cldy none 19:01 37 29 8 265 (W) 314 Ptly Cldy none 20:01 36 30 13 318 (NW) 358 Clear none 21:01 36 30 9 283 (WNW) 392 Mstly Cldy none 22:01 37 27 13 307 (NW) 432 Ptly Cldy none 23:01 35 27 11 302 (WNW) 395 Mstly Cldy none 00:01 35 25 12 315 (NW) 378 cloudy lt snow 01:01 36 27 14 295 (WNW) 411 cloudy lt snow 02:01 35 27 12 310 (NW) 386 cloudy lt snow 03:01 32 30 16 217 (SW) 416 cloudy snow 04:01 31 30 6 16 (NNE) 271 cloudy snow 05:01 31 31 13 254 (WSW) 1991 cloudy snow 06:01 30 27 11 283 (WNW) 400 cloudy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
