Chris logged in shortly thereafter and started calibrations at 16:20. Clouds thickened steadily after dark but we remained open and Chris tried getting some data. Clouds became dense enough to warrant closure shortly before midnight. We never reopened after that. By mutual agreement with the observer decided to shut down at 04:30. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 36 19 11 2 (N) 8 MstlyCldy none 17:01 36 15 5 0 (N) 13 PtlyCldy none 18:01 34 18 9 332 (NNW) 17 PtlyCldy none 19:01 35 16 8 324 (NW) 17 PtlyCldy none 20:01 35 25 5 292 (WNW) 17 PtlyCldy none 21:01 35 26 14 288 (WNW) 13 MstlyCldy none 22:01 35 27 9 293 (WNW) 12 MstlyCldy none 23:01 35 26 16 270 (W) 8 MstlyCldy none 00:01 35 25 9 266 (W) 10 MstlyCldy none 01:01 35 20 9 254 (WSW) 18 MstlyCldy none 02:01 35 14 9 263 (W) 27 MstlyCldy none 03:01 34 15 13 278 (W) 63 MstlyCldy none 04:01 33 15 9 265 (W) 69 MstlyCldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
